Friday 7th November - walks **** – Levington including picnic in the
van with Maeva – gloomy.
I didn’t go with Mag this morning for her early morning walk along the
prom but I did have a drive around in the van at 7.30 to take some weather
pics from the conker trees at Brackenbury to the poppies on the pier, the
sun even made a very brief appearance!
Mag then picked up Maeva and the fun started at 11 when she arrived at our
house, she helped Mag hang out the washing although that proved to be a
waste of time as there was no dry out there today! Maeva then sat at the
worktop to help while I made todays picnic, she also had fun drawing faces
on a white pumpkin we had! It was very gloomy when we left Felixstowe at
12.30 so we didn’t want to drive far so we headed to one of our
favourites Levington parking by the Orwell at the left end of the Marina,
the tide was again very high due to a big full moon and there was loads of
birds in the lagoon beside the van! We once again enjoyed lunch with the
diesel heater on then played the light on lights off game before setting
off on our walk. We kicked leaves before reaching Loompit lake which was
covered in noisy geese, Maeva throw a few stones in the lake before
reaching the lovely beach with freshly wet sand as the tide drops, what fun
we had making footprints in the soft sand with loads of geese flying
overhead, just brilliant :) We then headed back and Maeva was getting tired
so Mag and I held a hand each and played 1 2 3 jump all the way back to the
van! Then home for a cuppa and biscuit with some quiet time watching Peppa
Pig before taking her home, another top Friday with Maeva:)
